Welcome, we are excited to have you join us! Please choose one session below (campers wishing to do both sessions may be added to a waitlist for their second session choice). Both sessions are nearly identical, with planned activities subject to change depending on weather or other conditions outside of our control. All sessions are co-ed, and campers must be in high school as of September 2022. Staff and camper safety is paramount at all times. Please note that camp begins at 2pm on the first day, ending at 12pm (noon) on the last day. We respectfully ask campers to commit to the whole week.

We are a running camp. Campers can expect to run between 25 and 50 miles, and climb 4,000-5,000ft, over the course of six days. Our runners come to us with a range of abilities and experiences. From state champions to first year runners, it's what makes our camp so unique--and we love that! Our expectation is that each camper starts a summer of running before camp, and a willingness to try new things while supporting others doing the same. All abilities are welcome. Come with a desire to improve as a runner, cook, and late-night prankster.

COVID-19 With our understanding of, and response to, the COVID-19 pandemic continuously changing, a more detailed mitigation plan, under the advisement of public health officials and local physicians, will be published later this spring. As of this writing (early February), it will most likely involve the wearing of masks when indoors, pre and end of camp testing, and verification of whether campers are vaccinated or not.

Registration Fee: Sliding scale. (More information in registration below.)

Traveling from outside of Juneau? We try our best to support campers attending from outside of Juneau. However, COVID-19 may limit options available to us to house campers before and after camp ends. Please make sure to read our mitigation plan (link above) and contact us for the latest information on local mandates and how we can support you/your athlete joining us this summer.

Refunds (minus processing fees) will be considered on or before April 15th. Cancellations after that will only be considered for a refund if a replacement camper is found.

Questions about registration, contact: Tristan Knutson-Lombardo, [email protected], 907-723-1772.

How our registration fee works: We offer our camp registration fee on a sliding scale. We are only able to do what we do with the generosity of grant funding and donations in addition to your camp fees. We strive to make camp accessible to everyone regardless of ability to pay. With that in mind, we offer families the option to contribute what is comfortable for them--no questions asked. The total cost for Lynn Canal Running Camp is more than $700 per camper. Historically we have offered camp at $350 (with scholarships available). We work hard to make camp both top-notch and affordable to all. To that end, we ask campers registering to think about the value of a week spent adventuring in the woods and on top of mountains, and match that with a meaningful contribution for the opportunity to join in a life-changing week. Registration includes all in-camp transportation, lodging, food, a shirt and other gear.
