We are a running camp and we are excited to have you join us! All sessions of our overnight high school camp are based out at the Eagle River Methodist Camp north of Juneau (28 mile on Glacier Highway). Our days are spent running and skill-building on our world-class trail system, holistic workshops, shared cooking and cleaning duties, and (crazy) team building events. All sessions are co-ed, and campers must be in high school as of September 2025. Staff and camper safety is paramount at all times.

Wishing to do more than one session?  Register for your priority session only and email [email protected] with your second preference. Our goal is to maximize the number of teens served. We will notify campers of additional availability in April.

Registration Fee: $0-$800 Sliding scale. (More information below.)

Traveling from outside of Juneau? We try our best to support campers attending from outside of Juneau. We can pick-up/drop-off at the airport and ferry, and if travel requires you to stay an extra night before or after, we will connect you with a local camper family host.

Refunds (minus processing fees) will be considered on or before April 1st if a replacement camper can be found. Because we will have sunk most of our camp expenses at this point, we are unable to consider refunds after April 1st.

Questions about registration, contact: [email protected] or call Tristan at 907-723-1772.

Lynn Canal Running Camps are conducted by Lynn Canal Adventures, a 501(c)3 nonprofit located in Juneau, Alaska. We have been operating running camps since 2010 with a simple mission: to build courage and community through running.

Is this the right camp for me?

Runners who get the most out of our camps are just that--runners. We proudly cater to a wide spectrum of abilities, from first year runners to state champions to those cross training for other sports. It's what makes our camp so unique, and we love that! Campers should come with a summer of running under their belt (camp isn’t a place to start running, it’s something you’ve been running for) and a desire to improve as a runner while supporting others doing the same. Please take a moment to answer a few questions to see if a week spent with Lynn Canal Adventures is the right fit for you:

Camp begins at 2pm on the first day and ends at 12pm on the last day.

If you were unable to answer yes to all of the above questions, we encourage you to consider a season of cross country running or track to see if running is something you enjoy before joining us at camp. If you have further questions, please contact us at [email protected].

How our registration fee works: We offer our camp registration fee on a sliding scale. We are only able to do what we do with the generosity of grant funding and donations in addition to your camp fees. We strive to make camp accessible to everyone regardless of ability to pay. With that in mind, we offer families the option to contribute what is comfortable for them--no questions asked. The total cost for Lynn Canal Running Camp is more than $800 per camper. We work hard to make camp both top-notch and affordable to all. To that end, we ask campers registering to think about the value of a week spent adventuring in the woods and on top of mountains, and match that with a meaningful contribution for the opportunity to join in a life-changing week. Registration includes all in-camp transportation, lodging, food, a shirt, and other gear.

*Friendly reminder that refunds are available on or before April 1st (no joke!) if a replacement camper is found. We are unable to offer refunds after April 1st.
